Taco Pizza
Need a new idea for dinner? Taco pizza is the answer!
Ingredients
- 1 6.5 oz. package pizza dough mix
- 15 oz. can refried beans
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. Taco Dirty To Me Seasoning
- 3/4 c. water, divided
- 2 c. Fiesta blend cheese, shredded
- 3 c. iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- taco sauce, sour cream, guacamole (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and oil your pizza pan.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, combine the pizza dough and 1/2 c. water until well combined. Allow to rest for at least 5 minutes, but longer is better.
Step 3
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, crumbling it as you go. Drain the grease and then add the 3 tablespoons of Taco Dirty To Me Seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Cook for 5 minutes to allow the seasoning to dissolve and heat through.
Step 4
Spread out your dough over your pizza pan. Spread the refried beans over the dough, going all the way to the edges. Top with cooked and seasoned hamburger meat and then sprinkle with the cheese.
Step 5
Bake for 20 minutes, or until your crust is cooked through. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Then top with chopped lettuce and tomatoes.
Step 6
Garnish the pizza with any additional toppings you'd like and serve.
