Taco Flag Dip
Since the Fourth of July is on a Tuesday this year, it's only fitting to have Taco Dip! :)
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. Taco Dirty To Me Seasoning
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz) container of sour cream
- 1 (8 oz) package of shredded cheese, Mexican blend
- 1/3 c. salsa
- shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 can (2.25 oz) sliced black olives
- 1 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the ground beef until no longer pink, chopping it up as you go. Drain grease and add in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, stirring thoroughly and allowing the seasoning to cook into the meat.
Step 2
Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until blended together. Spread onto the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish. Layer the meat on top of the cream cheese mixture, then top with 1 cup of the cheese and the lettuce.
Step 3
Arrange the olives in the top left corner to signify the stars and cover the rest with the remaining cheese. Add the halved tomatoes in straight lines for the stripes. Serve right away and enjoy!
