Spicy Breakfast Rolls

Spicy Breakfast Rolls

Think of cinnamon rolls, but stuffed with all the savory breakfast foods! These are loaded with bacon, eggs, cheese, sausage, and Firebee Spicy Honey! 

Ingredients

Yields 15 Servings

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 - 3 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12-15 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 large eggs, scrambled
  • 2 Tbsp. Firebee Spicy Honey

Instructions

Step 1

Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl and let sit for 3-4 minutes. Add in oil, salt, and flour. Start with 2 1/2 cups of flour and add more as needed until the dough cleans the sides of the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 15 minutes. 

Step 2

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Roll out dough on a sheet of parchment paper until a large rectangle approximately 1/4 inch is formed. 

Step 3

Spread the dough with melted butter and then drizzle with Firebee Spicy Honey. Sprinkle with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and all but 1/2 cup of the cheese. 

Step 4

Starting with one of the long edges of the rectangle, roll dough up tightly, working from one end to the other end horizontally, then back again. Pinch the seams closed at the end. Use a sharp knife to cut sections about 1 1/2" thick from the roll. 

Step 5

Set the rolls on a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes and remove from the oven. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted and rolls are just beginning to turn golden brown. Drizzle with extra Firebee Spicy Honey for an additional spicy kick!
