Pumpkin Spice Donuts

Pumpkin Spice Donuts

Fall breakfast isn't complete without these delicious donuts. They are easy to whip up and taste amazing! Your family and friends won't believe you made them yourself!

Ingredients

Yields 12 Servings
  • 1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Firebee Pumpkin Spice Honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
Glaze
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 12 cavity donut pan (or 2 - 6 cavity donut pans).

Step 2

Mix together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients. Add them together, stirring carefully so you don't overmix.

Step 3

Pour the batter into a large Ziploc bag and snip off the corner. Use the bag to pipe the batter into the cavities of the donut pan until each is about 2/3 of the way full. 

Step 4

Bake the donuts for 10-12 minutes or until they spring back when touched with your finger. Allow them to cool for 5-10 minutes while you make your glaze. 

Step 5

In a medium bowl, mix together all the glaze ingredients (except sprinkles) and them dip the donuts in, allow the excess to drip off. Place back on the cooling rack and allow the glaze to harden. Add sprinkles if you like!
