Llama Licks Roast Beef Po Boy
All that New Orleans flavor you've been craving in one meal - seasoned with Forni-Cajun by Llama Licks, this crock pot meal is easy and delicious!
Ingredients
- 2-3 lb. pot roast (chuck)
- 1 packet of brown gravy mix
- 1 can beef broth
- 4 Tbsp. Forni-Cajun Seasoning
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 8 hoagie buns
- tomato slices
- shredded lettuce
- pickles
- mayonnaise
Instructions
Step 1
Place the roast in the slow cooker (no need to sear it). Mix up the brown gravy mix, beef broth, and Forni-Cajun Seasoning in a bowl and pour over the roast.
Step 2
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until roast is fork tender. Shred the pot roast when it is done. Whisk the cornstarch with 3 Tbsp. of cold water and add to the gravy to thicken it.
Step 3
To assemble, split the hoagie buns open and spread generously with mayonnaise. Add the meat and top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
