Cinnamon Banana Pancakes

Cinnamon Banana Pancakes

Turn your kitchen into your favorite breakfast spot with this easy recipe! Filled with bananas, walnuts, and cinnamon and then topped with a cream cheese glaze, these pancakes are packed with flavor!

Ingredients

Yields 6 Servings
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3 Tbsp. Firebee Cinnamon Honey
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas (about 3 bananas)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, plus some to sprinkle on top if desired
Cream Cheese Glaze
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

Step 1

Combine the pancake ingredients in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk to combine. When the mixture is well combined, preheat a large skillet to medium heat.

Step 2

Add some butter to your skillet and pour in about 1/4 c. of pancake batter. Allow to cook until bubbles appear on the top and start breaking. Flip the pancake and allow to cook until it is golden brown. Continue cooking additional pancakes until you run out of batter.

Step 3

While the pancakes are cooking, mix up your glaze by whisking together the glaze ingredients. You can add more milk if it is too thick, or more powdered sugar if it is too runny. Pour over the pancakes and sprinkle with walnuts to serve.
