Cherry Cake

Cherry Cake

This cake has just the right amount of sweetness! An easy throw together recipe that will make you look like a master chef!

Ingredients

Yields 12 Servings
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. Firebee Elderberry Honey
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Set aside.

Step 2

Add the flour, baking powder, butter, milk, Firebee Elderberry Honey, salt, and eggs together in a large bowl. Mix until combined. Add in 1/2 the can of cherry pie filling and mix. 

Step 3

Pour the batter into the greased pan and top with the remaining pie filling. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and serve topped with whipped cream if desired.
